14/01/2005; The FSA is administrated and regulates all private health insurance sales. The FSA administer the general rules for the private health industry so that all business’s follow the same set of rules when dealing with potential clients.
When filling out an insurance application you need to be accurate as this is the contract that your insurance cover and contributions will be based on, all personnel information is by law – protected with the utmost confidentiality, especially your medical details.
Anyone advising on health (including insures) must be covered by the financial ombudsman and must have their own complaints procedures in place before any business is done.
